The Tunbridge Wells Foresters under 7’s Tandridge team played their second game of the season away at Ten Em Bee on Sunday. The game ended in a 5-1 away win for Foresters.
The game started at a fast pace on a slippery surface with Foresters having the best chances to open the scoring , but the home goalkeeper was in good form and kept the scores level. However Foresters were playing well and did put together some good passing movements which eventually led to the breakthrough, with Harvey Robinson, Joe Pickett and Erik Anderberg giving Foresters a well earned 3-0 half time lead.
In the second half the Under 7’s continued to pass the ball around with two goals following in quick succession a second for Joe Pickett and also a goal for Jamie Smith. With the match entering the last few minutes and Foresters looking as though they would keep their first clean sheet of the season Ten Em Bee scored a consolation goal..
The boys put in a very good team performance and it is good to see them putting into practice what they learn at training and also to see them enjoying their football.
