Whyteleafe U11 1 – 2 TW Foresters U11 Tandridge A Division This week the Forester’s were back in action after the Easter break drawn in a tough away Tandridge League tie to in form Whyteleafe. The Foresters started the brighter of the two sides dominating the majority of the possession and creating several good half chances early on. On 10 minutes against the run of play the home side went ahead through a scrappy Foresters own goal. The Foresters undeterred maintained their composer and continued working the ball well in the wide areas, creating several good half chances through Bonsall, Pickett and Dumas. On 15 minutes a fine free kick from the left by Pickett was meet by Whitechurch, his great header gave the Whyteleafe keeper no chance and draw Foresters deservedly level. Foresters maintained their dominance and added a further goal on 20 minutes after a fine pass from Messina found Pickett who finished from close range to make it 2 -1 moving towards half time. The second half was much the same with the home side largely restricted to a few half chances and largely cancelled out by the strong defensive showing from Benton, Horlock, Credland and Anderberg. The Foresters should have added further to the score line through fine efforts from Scott, Bonsall and Whitechurch but it wasn’t to be.
