Sunday 31st October Under 10s v Eversley Rangers
The Tunbridge Wells Foresters Spartak under 10’s Tandridge team travelled to play away at Eversley Rangers in the cup on Sunday. The game ended in a 8-2 win for Foresters.
Foresters started the game strongly and had the majority of the early possession and the deadlock was broken when Fraser Abbott scored from long range. The lead was doubled soon after when Fraser Abbott scored once again from outside the box. The third goal was scored via the head of Robert Lawrence from at Matthew Horlock corner. There was plenty of goalmouth action upto the break but no more goals were scored and at half-time the score was 3-0 to Foresters.
In the second half the Under 10’s continued to pass the ball around and they continued to create chances. Eversley however reduced the deficit with a goal on the break, before Ollie Plunkett set up Johnny Phillips to score Foresters fourth goal. Eversley scored again to make the score line 4-2.The boys extended their lead four minutes later with an own goal. Foresters sixth goal was scored by Joseph Pickett direct from a corner. The seventh goal was scored by Johnny Phillips who was set up by Erik Anderberg and Erik Anderberg scored the final goal of the game on the stroke of full time to make the scoreline 8-2 to the way side.
Well done to the boys on grinding out a result and for playing some excellent football in difficult underfoot conditions on a narrow pitch.
