Sunday 15th February Under 8's v Spitfire Colts FC
The Tunbridge Wells Foresters under 8’s Tandridge team played at home on Sunday. The game ended in a 11-0 win for Foresters.
Foresters opened the scoring in the first minute of the game through Ollie Plunkett and this set the tone for the rest of the match. Foresters enjoyed the majority of the early possession and missed several good opportunities to extend their lead, however following a good passage of play Fraser Abbott scored following a good through ball from Ollie Plunkett. The third goal came in the ninth minute when a corner from Luca Nwanosike was turned into his own net by a Spitfires defender. The final goal of the half was scored in the final minute when Luca Nwanosike scored with Johnny Phillips providing the pass, so at half-time the scoreline was 4-0 to Foresters.
In the second half the Under 8’s continued to pass the ball around they opened the scoring in the second minute of the half with Luca Nwanosike scoring with Joseph Pickett supplying the pass. Two minutes later Luca Nwanosike scored his hat-trick following a good pass from Ollie Plunkett. Foresters added to their lead straight from the restart with Joseph Pickett getting onto the scoresheet.
Foresters continued to create chances but they could not bet the goalkeeper who made several good. Foresters scored again midway through the half with Luca Nwanosike adding to has tally. Once again straight from the restart Joseph Pickett scored following a good ball from Johnny Phillips. Luca Nwanosike scored his fifth goal of the game in the 35th minute and the final goal of the game was scored as in the final minute when Matthew Horlock broke free following the visiting keepers goal kick to score.
Well done to the Luca Caria and also to Robert Lawrence on keeping another clean sheet.
