Sunday saw the Foresters back in league action travelling away to face Seymour Villa. The Foresters started brightly taking the game to the home side playing some good passing football. Within five minutes a good passage of play found Louis in space who only narrowly missed the target; from then on a sustained spell of good Foresters possession maintained by the impressive work of Seb and Fraser in midfield started to create chances almost at will with Louis again going close on several occasions before seeing a fantastic effort come back off the post with the keeper beaten. With the score still level after twenty minutes another good move found Louis in space in the Seymour penalty area, only for a rash challenge that resulted in a penalty for the Foresters. Rob duly knocked in the spot kick to take Foresters in to a deserved lead as half time approached. The second half seemed barely five minutes old when Luke was clumsily knocked over in the box and another Foresters penalty awarded. Luke confidently fired in the penalty to make the score 2 – 0 to Foresters. The Foresters continued to play creatively and create further chances but the Seymour keeper made a couple of fine saves to maintain a respectable score line. Seymour pushed hard all game but couldn’t find away past a strong and organised Foresters defence. Squad: - Oscar, Eric, Luke, Zach, Harvey, Josh, Seb, Fraser, Joe, Will, Bailey, Mickey, Andrew, Louis
