The Tunbridge Wells Foresters under 10’s Spartak Tandridge team played away at Glebe on Sunday. The game ended in a 4-1 win for Foresters.
Foresters started the game slowly and once again conceded an early goal. It took a while for the boys to get in their stride but they got back into the game when Johny Phillips set up Erik Anderberg for the equaliser. Following this the boys had the majority of the possession and missed several good opportunities, however Josh Williams scored his first Tandridge League goal to give the away team the lead so at half-time the scoreline was 2-1 to Foresters.
In the second half the boys continued to play well and Johnny Phillips finally made the game safe following a through ball from Joseph Pickett. Robert Lawrence supplied the cross for the final goal of the game which saw a Joseph Pickett shot deflected into the net by a defender.
Well done to the boys with another soild performance and also for playing some excellent football during the course of the game.
The squad for the match was as follows:-
L.Caira, E.Anderberg, J.Phillips, J.Williams, M.Horlock, F.Abbott, J.Pickett, ,R.Lawrence and L.Credland.
