"nos es non verecundor..." words of the ancients, of our founding fathers. oct 28th 2010. 1st half. on this cool and breezy autumn night. the legion of the fellas, under-equipped, under-manned and weary from years of battle, stood to face the ambush assaults from the barbaric tribe alliance of the wing's at the gateway to the valley of the happy. clouded by the insufferable air in the artificial grasslands, legionnaire vicentius defiantly howled: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_O68HUcHos&feature=related it was with such passion and ferocity that centurion davidus d: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Seu0oyH95Uw under the command of the centurion, the legion opened up as the barbarians lurked in shadows: julius t-baius sebkettius matsuno(far-eastern mercenary gladiator/samurai) jasonus belgius vicentius the battle came to a merciless start. emotions were high and limbs were all over. the fight appears to be a short one when the barbarians drew close. even the fates themselves would not have known. however, the rebellious spirit of the legion were not to be overlooked and the legionnaires held on to their grounds while the wild longrange efforts of the tribes went in vain. led by jasonus, the legions broke through a number of times but their mid range attempts ultimately failed like their counterparts. without allowing his comrades to outshine them, belgius and matsuno flanked wide and launched direct assaults deep in enemy territories. both forces began to slow realize that the night would not be short as the battle turned into one of attrition. such was an unmistakable direct result of the dominant performances of the legionnaires backline. t-baius, sebkettius, julius delivered a performance of the ages, worthy of the words of homer himself. with more forces i.e. marcius for the crippling vicentius, andrelinius for belgius, sandrotti for t-basius marching into battle, the battle weary legion were holding on for a catch of breathe at the first break of daylight when in a twist of events, a tribal arrow deflected off their warriors, drifted upwards and landed over the head of julius himself. Such was the beginning of the laststand of the legion of the fellas. "sing in me, muse, and through me tell the story of the men skilled in all ways of contending, the wanderer, harried for years on end, after he plundered the stronghold on the proud height of troy." homer. 2nd half. allow me to be a little more blunt here. after a short a break, the fellas were ready, strapped and steady. the starting crew rolled out this way: jules sandro ketts koh jase tea marc for the first 10 minutes or so the the fellas were all up their half putting up lots of pressure. but somehow we couldnt get shots off. what happened was it took us a little too long to get rid of the ball when we had it. these wing luen kids had time to drop back and wall us off. and i guess we didnt play the flanks enough or wide enough that balls could be crossed in for some random quarterback sacking actions. for that 10 minutes it looked like we could tie them but then we were up a little too aggressive and the cohesiveness fell apart giving those whiny mofos plenty of 2 v. 1 chances to mess with jules. at the end of the game andre went in for marc. belgium for tea. then vince went in for koh. justin for jase. eddy for sandro. we were physically better than these guys. so i guess we know we can do full court press vs wing luen. and they inmho is nowhere close to jleaguers or yan wai. they just talk a lot of crap to the everyone including the ref and dive a lot. like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82ochcQ56Es highlights: mvp aka most vulnerable player performance by jules. id totally pick you second after myself if theres a m7 fantasy league. ketts countless crazy tackles. jase took 3-4 players and then launching right off the box. andres backheel with belgium bombing down the sideline. sandro and my yellow cards. justin body checking an opponent and have that guy go "eh... eh... eh... phuuuuuck yooooou." last but not least. the wing luen keeper asked the ref "are you a blind phuc? (in canto: 你係唔係個盲X?)" yours truly, vinnie chan. p.s. "it aint no fun if the homies can have none." snoop dogg.

btw guys. davidus reacted like this at the postgame.
