Koh
Final Score
Goodfellas 3 - J-Leaguers 1
We started the game with the formation something like this.
Mullen
Shiuy D Cheung Ikes Dec
Fatty Leung Howard Pete Koh
Ced Kai
Sub:
Shaka
Leo
Chris
Doug
The opponent only had 10 players untill the last 10 minutes but D Cheung didnt notice it for the whole game.
We couldnt really take advantage of it at the beginning.
Although we have more possessions and created some good chances, we needed to wait till half way though the first half.
Fatty Leung was in good shape and penetrated his side many times but, as usual, we needed to hear him shouting and yelling over his failure in making good cross at the last moment before he finally made a perfect beautiful cross from very deep corner of his side.
In the middle area, our captain Howard rushed into the 6 yard box and made full use of his height and physical strength and headed the ball down from 3 meter high.
Half time Goodfellas 1 - J-Leagrers 0
Second half, Leo came in for Kai, Doug for Shiuy, Chris for Dec, Shaka for Fatty Leung. (correct??)
Korean heavy tank Pete was on fire in the second half.
Our second goal from Pete should be nominated for the best goal of the season for sure. Near the center circle, he stole the ball from their player and, as soon as he looked up, took a breathtaking long shot with no hesitation.
It just looked like something like this.

Better quality movie of this scene will be available by Bulldog soon.
Put it up on youtube, seriously.
And thanks for taping the recent games.
There were some moments when J-Leaguers took control of the game in the second half. Yuko came out from goal and played effectively up front. One time, they continuously picked up the second balls and launched successive attacks and score a goal from a descent cross and diving header.
But other than that, we handled their pressure well and kept good momentum throughout the game.
Many good crosses from Doug as always.
The french man totally dominated his side, almost insulting their defenders.
Aggressive and well organized defensive line except a sleeping Mauritius man.
About 10 minutes to go, Pete added one more from a scramble scene just in front of their goal.
Very good timing and it slashed their motivation to fight back.
Finally, I think It worth thinking about how we should play when we have 2-0 lead.
Do we still play in the same way as when still 0-0?
Or should we a bit stay back and try to keep the lead rather than adding more?
Anyway, it was a very nice Saturday afternoon and I enjoyed this nice feeling over the weekend.
Thank you very much for everyone.
