Pre-match team talk:
My 1st M-7 game and a 3-1 W against them last time, which boost our confidence a little, with 1 man short, we were eager to kick their assess.
Play our own game and move the ball around. D-up and keep things tidy.

Line up:
Andy
Declan, Seb
Jason, Justin, Peps
Philip

Subs: Alex c, Garrow, Alex Mc, Eddie

First half:
We started well, and were very disciplined, keeping our shape and applying full court press. The opposition resorted to back and blind passes which either went out of bounds, or ground balls collected by Andy. Jason and Peps worked hard covering all the spaces, and moved the ball around, but as the pitch was very slippery and fast, I was able to take a few weak shots on goal. 6 minutes in, their MR collected a pass from their keeper, and took a wild shot from half way line, which caught everyone by surprised. 1-0.

We gathered ourselves, despite their 7th man arriving, we kept the pressure on. With Seb and Declan clearing the high balls, and Justin directing traffic. Jason and Peps had a few shots and some slick moves in front of goal. But again, we were hit by their counter attack. Their CB put a nice pass through which sliced pass Justin and I, where the FW turns and shoot from outside the box, 2-0.
Subs: Alex Mc For Philip, Alex C for Justin.
We held on to a 2 goals deficit at the half, with below par performance.

Half time talk:
The  " Jamaican " pointed out a few things, as we are not playing as a unit and was playing out of position. Unable to clear balls at the back and lost of positions in the middle. Not much shots were taken. Tidy things up and input more urgency.

2nd half:
Subs: Garrow for Declan, Eddie for Peps.
We came out better, with more energy. Chasing down opportunities, and forced them into mistakes. Alex Mc holds the ball well up front and Jason had a few runs of his own behind him, only palmed away by the keeper. The slippery pitch limited the movement of both teams, balls kept bouncing around, turning into a ping pong game. They took advantage of a weird bounce which lobbed over our defense and their FW got to the ball and 3-0.

Subs: Philip for Alex M, Justin for Alex C, Declan for Seb.
We started moving the ball from side to side, creating space at their edge of the box. Backline was doing better, spreading the ball to the wings and back to the middle. We had numerous opportunities and shots, but wasn't able to convert. I am actually having a lot of fun. Justin had a 10 yards goal attempted, which landed on the race track. We got a goal back, when Garrow sent in a cross from the left and headed in by Delcan at the back-post. We kept pressing, wanting for another, but there it was, the final whistle.  1-3.

Post game talk:

We are overly confidence and sloppy. We need to get ready for the game, focus right from the start.

Good that we improved from 3 goals down, and played with more energy and as a unit. We have to believe we are capable to win, chin high and never give up.

I forgot what else the Jamaican said..so many..um.. he started from pitch 3 and ended at Leighton road
