DISAPPOINTMENT AS DENDY MAKE TOO MANY
MISTAKES TO LOSE 4-3 AGAINST CREWE FC RES.
MARY DENDY 3 CREWE FC RES 4 ...
Another game against Crewe Fc res on astro turf and another single goal defeat.
Looking at our squad today i thought a win was on the cards against a team that is becoming our bogey team.
The weather again made a move to astro turf was required to play the game. At times hail stone and heavy rain made conditions hard.
Becoming far too common these days Dendy gave away two goals in the first 15 mins and again they dragged themselves back into the game with a nice header for Dave Spruce. A penalty from Ian was nicely saved with the keepers foot after being sent the wrong way. Thankfully Matt scored not long after to make it 2-2 on the half.
half time 2-2
After only 2 mins of the second half Dendy failed to clear the box with Jack trying to play too much football and again Dendy trailed.
A nice move and across nodded home by Tommy Wake tied the scores to three a piece. The winner was a comedy of errors with Ian passing across his box straight to a Crewe player leading to a corner. The corner was flapped at by Perry in goal who was not having his best day and the ball ended up in the net.
As much as Dendy tried and they had chances to get another goal they failed to make their strike force count.

Bad points
You only have to look back at my past reports to see just how many cheap goals we concede by making simple errors. A lesson we have yet to learn by. Giving the ball away in dangerous positions. Overplaying or holding the ball too long in our half. We also seem to be bad starters. We are bottom of the league and with the players we have this should not be.
Good points
We still have a decent squad that can compete in this league they just need to show it with points. I enjoyed seeing Dan back who as usual was his own worse critic. I think his movement at time was good as was some of his passing. The early failure to read the bounce and being rusty dinted his confidence and at times this showed.
It was good of the Cheshire Cheese to put on food after the game.
Donkey was Ian The pen miss was unfortunate. The keeper did well to stop it with his trailing foot. The header was funny. But he really needs to improve his passing.
Man of the match was Shaun for a hard working display.
