Mary Dendy gave a vintage performance as they came from a goal behind to defeat Bentley , a team they beat in the final four years ago. In a tight first half there was no score but five minutes into the second half Josh Clark gave the visitors the lead finishing confidently after a cross field pass from Callum Herd found him free in the penalty area and he dummied the stand in goalkeeper Chris Shepherd to side foot home. Bentley piled on the pressure but Dendy defended stoutly determined not to concede a second .
Ryan Fallon scored both goals in Mary Dendy's victory against Bentley FC After forcing two excellent saves from Ash McConnell in the Bentley goal Two goals inside two minutes turned the game on its head . First Ryan Fallon Fallon twisted and turned on the edge of the penalty area and fired home the equaliser after great work from Steve Rawlings and Martin Brunker then Brunker again , sent scampering down the wing by Matty Martin crossed low into the penalty box and somehow 6’3 striker Fallon stooped almost to the ground to head home Dendy’s second. Bentley piled on the pressure in the final moments but despite players dropping to the floor in sheer exhaustion nothing could prevent Dendy from celebrating as referee Derek Scott blew the final whistle.
