The Miles & Barr Thanet Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Thanet, Kent, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in 10 divisions.

History

The league was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The inaugural season saw 12 teams compete in a single division. The league has since grown steadily and now has over 100 teams competing in 10 divisions.

The league is named after Miles & Barr, a local insurance company that has been a major sponsor of the league since its inception.

Structure

The league is divided into 10 divisions: Premier, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the next division.

The league also has a cup competition, the Miles & Barr Thanet Sunday Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league and is played in a knockout format.
