Walsall Junior Youth Football League
The Walsall Junior Youth Football League (WJYL) is an FA Charter Standard League based in the West Midlands. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams playing in its leagues.
The WJYL caters for players aged 7 to 16 years old. There are leagues for boys and girls at each age group. The season runs from September to April.
League Structure
The WJYL is divided into three divisions: Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The top teams in each division are promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom teams are relegated.
There is also a cup competition, the WJYL Cup, which is open to all teams in the league.
