Burton Junior Football League
The Burton Junior Football League (BJFL) is an amateur football league for children aged 5-16 years old in the Burton-upon-Trent area.
The league was founded in 1988 and currently has over 300 teams participating. The teams are divided into different divisions based on age and ability.
Season Structure
The BJFL season runs from September to April. Each team plays 12-14 matches during the season, with the top teams in each division qualifying for the playoffs.
The league also has a cup competition, the Burton Junior Cup, which is open to all teams in the league.
