Crowborough & District Junior Football League
The Crowborough & District Junior Football League (CDJFL) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7 to 16 in the Crowborough area of East Sussex, England.
The league was founded in 1967 and currently has over 50 teams affiliated to it. The teams are divided into age groups from Under-7 to Under-16, and play in a variety of divisions.
The CDJFL is affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association (SCFA) and follows the SCFA's rules and regulations. The league also has its own set of rules, which are available on the CDJFL website.
Season structure
The CDJFL season runs from September to April. Each team plays a round-robin format of matches against the other teams in their division. The top teams in each division qualify for the playoffs, which are held in April.
The CDJFL also has a cup competition, the CDJFL Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league, and is played on a knockout basis. The final of the CDJFL Cup is usually held in May.
