Carlisle Glass Longhorn Youth Football League
The Carlisle Glass Longhorn Youth Football League is an amateur football league for children in the Carlisle area. It was founded in 1970 and currently has over 100 teams playing in a variety of age groups.
Season Structure
The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays 12-14 matches during the season, with the top teams qualifying for the playoffs. The playoffs culminate in a cup final in May.
Teams
The league has teams in the following age groups:
- Under-7s
- Under-8s
- Under-9s
- Under-10s
- Under-11s
- Under-12s
- Under-13s
- Under-14s
- Under-15s
- Under-16s
Teams can be mixed or single-sex.

The league matches are played at a variety of venues in the Carlisle area, including:
