About the CAWJL
The Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League (CAWJL) is an amateur football league for players aged 6 to 18 in West Yorkshire. It currently has over 50 member clubs with nearly 500 teams.
The league was founded in 1972 and is affiliated to the English Football Association (FA). It is a Charter Standard league, which means that it meets the FA's high standards of operation.
The CAWJL runs a variety of competitions, including leagues, cups, and tournaments. The league also offers a range of development opportunities for players, coaches, and referees.
Competitions
- Leagues: The CAWJL runs leagues for players of all ages, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
- Cups: The CAWJL also runs a number of cups, including the Craven Cup, the Aire Cup, and the Wharfe Cup.
- Tournaments: The CAWJL organizes a variety of tournaments throughout the season, including the annual CAWJL Charity Cup.
