Dorset U21 Development League
The Dorset U21 Development League is an amateur football league for under-21 players in the county of Dorset, England. It is affiliated to the Football Association (FA).
History
The league was founded in 2001. The inaugural season had 10 teams. The league has grown steadily over the years and currently has 18 teams.
Format

The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One. The top four teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the next level, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One. The top two teams in Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to a lower league.
The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team twice, once at home and once away.
