The Bromley and District Football League
The Bromley and District Football League (BSLFL) is an amateur football league based in Bromley, Greater London. It was founded in 1904 and currently consists of 4 divisions: the John Cooper Premier Division, the Jim Hampson First Division, the Richard Ayling Second Division, and the Ron Pope Trophy.
The league headquarters are located at the Bromley Civic Centre. The current chairman of the league is Danny Hollis.
History
The Bromley and District Football League was founded in 1904. The inaugural season consisted of 10 teams: Bromley, Cray Wanderers, Eltham, Forest Hill, Penge, Petts Wood, St. Paul's Cray, Sundridge Park, West Wickham, and Woodside.
The league has expanded over the years and currently consists of 4 divisions. The John Cooper Premier Division is the top division, followed by the Jim Hampson First Division, the Richard Ayling Second Division, and the Ron Pope Trophy.
Current Season
The 2022-2023 season is currently underway. The John Cooper Premier Division is being led by Agenda, with Bexley A in second place and Sporting Club Beckenham in third.
The Jim Hampson First Division is being led by Beckenham Town Junior FC, with Farnborough Old Boys Guild in second place and Groundhoppers FC in third.
The Richard Ayling Second Division is being led by Bexley, with Welling United in second place and Eltham Town in third.
