North Derbyshire Youth Football League

The North Derbyshire Youth Football League (NDYFL) is an amateur football league for children and young people in North Derbyshire, England. It is affiliated to the English Football Association (FA).

History

The NDYFL was founded in 1970. It currently has over 100 member clubs and teams, and caters for players from Under-7s to Under-18s.

Structure North Derbyshire Youth Football League action

The NDYFL is divided into a number of divisions, based on age and ability. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and so on.

Each division has a regular season, followed by a playoff to determine the champions. The champions of the Premier Division are promoted to the Derbyshire County Youth League, while the bottom teams in each division are relegated to a lower division.
