With a crackling atmosphere that would rival the Maracana, Charnwood hosted the MEFF Champions League Final 2014 as a sprightly Partizan Belfrade faced a dogged Arsenal. A close first half saw few chances as the new balls zipped around, but Chris Hibbert broke the deadlock for Partizan when he beat Rowan to Griff's cross.
The game opened up in the second half and Belgrade put the game to bed with a fine strike from Andrew Griffiths and a solo finish from Chibs, allowing Sicky Sicky Two Pops No Noms Sam Burton to collect the winnings, with Patto picking up the consolation prize.
MOMs were Sicky, who marshalled his team with a focused intensity you'd usually see from a serial killer, and Kieran Scothern for defending well.
As a side note, both captains are donating their winnings (minus drinks) to Movember. If anyone wants to get involved with growing some facial fluff for Prostrate Cancer UK then let us know and we'll send you the link!
