St Michaels F C 1 Reynolds 5 Game played on 15/12/13
This game was always going to be tough for St Michaels against a team who had already beaten them 2 – 0 and also because they only had a bare 11 players. This proved to be the case with Reynolds opening the scoring after only 3 minutes and then increasing the lead with a blatantly offside goal on 18 minutes. After 28 minutes Reynolds made it 3 and the game as an event was over and half time came with the score 0 – 3.
The rout continued in the second half with the 4th scored on 51 minutes. St Michaels to their credit continued to play some good football and Sam Meade was unlucky to see his shot hit the crossbar. On 73 minutes Ryan Nibbs gave away a needless penalty that was well saved by Harry Graham. With 9 minutes to go Reynolds made it 0 – 5, St Michaels scored a good consolation from Dan Regan with 6 minutes to go. The remaining time saw Sam Meade get sent off by the joke of a referee for 2 bookable offences.
Good performances from Dan Regan, Dan Tarrant and Danny Baptiste but Man of the Match for the second week running goes to Harry Graham whose handling through out was superb and but for him the score would have been even graeter.
