Dartford Social 5 St Michaels F C 5

St Michaels started the game on the attack and after countless easy chances missed, JamalNdakoji opened the scoring from a Dan Tarrant assist. 4 minutes later however Dartford broke away and levelled the scores. 2 minutes later St Michaels were punished for missing chances when another breakaway led to Dartford taking the lead. 8 minutes later once again against the run of play Dartford scored again to lead 3 – 1.

The game continued at a fast pace and after 30 minutes a good ball from Danny Baptiste found Adam Fahy on the wing whose cross was put into the net by Jamal Ndakoji. This was not to be the last goal in the first half as 6 minutes later Dartford scored again to make the score at Half Time 4 – 2. At the break John Woodcock replaced James Mckerrell, Ben Baptiste replaced Danny Baptiste and Tom Pexton replaced Dan Regan.

After 60 minutes a Dan Tarrant free kick was headed in by Jamal Ndakoji for his hat trick.

and 10 minutes later from a Ben Baptiste cross he netted his 4th. On 75 minutes Dan Regan replaced Dan Tarrant. 9 minutes later Jamal Ndakoji added his 5th of the game latching onto a great long through ball from Harry Smart and restoring St Michael’s lead at 4 – 5. But a minute later another mistake in the St Michaels defence saw Dartford level the scores, with the final score being 5 - 5.

An exciting game albeit filled with numerous misses from St Michaels as well as countless mistakes in defence. Certainly 2 points lost as opposed to one point gained. The “Man of the Match” award this week is the easiest I have had to give in the 4 years since St Michaels were formed. Jamal Ndakoji has improved week after week and his 5 goals today were testament to this along with his general all round play. A great performance Jamal and we look forward to many more goals.
