RS ruled another missed opportunity in the match against Motorola. Once again RS blew so many chances away, especially they or more specifically WL the Ferrari has 3 for him.
RS started the match better than Motorola. The midfield axis of SB, Andrew & Ed provides the engine for the RS team.
First chance come after only 10 mins. Andrew send an overhead pass through to WL for him to chase on. WL once known for the Ferrari, just like the Ferrari in F1, no longer the force of old selves. he blast ball high behind tha goals.
next moved resulted in openinig of the match. Allan collect the ball from keeper & pass to Moca, Moca exchange passes witj Ed, Ed continue the run from midfield, Moca spotted him & send a accurate low pass.
Ed wait for the keeper to come out & shot the ball pass the keeper into the net. 1-0 advantage RS.
RS keep pressure up after score the first goal. WL making a good run again, this time SB send a through ball to him, credit to Motorola keeper who comes out fast to shut down the angle & saved WL's shot. WL pick up the rebound near the byline, ride through challenges from the defender, send a cross shot over the keeper's head that still try to get back to his goal post, the shot sail into the far post. 2-0 to RS.
On 40th min, this time BK passed to him after the midfield, he turned the defender with a Johan Cruyff turn & left eating a dry grass on the field, while WL raced through to goal, this time he didn't take too much time to think nor blast it to goal, he try to curl the ball into far post but goalkeeper making a flying save to equal his effort.
Moment after WL should have kill the match, Motorola managed to get a goal back right before the break, through a one two & the striker slides the ball into the far post.
start from 2nd half, a old & bad habit of RS is keep recurring. Lack of concentration & composure start for RS, resulting the defender conceded a freekick, try to retrieve the lost ball after hold onto it too long & let Motorola nicked it away.
from the resulting freekick, Motorola send in a low cross which seems no dangerous at all. But this kind of moment always goes opposite, RS keeper thought to collect the ball safely into his glove, but somehow his use his glove to put on butter for the bread during tea break, thus the ball flew through his glove then his LP into the net. 2-2 after 5 mins into 2nd half.
RS regain the composure & construct wave after wave attack on Motorola, too bad all the attackers left their shooting boots somewhere else & those chances gone without score a goals.
Motorola managed to counter attack RS but this time keeper Reuben Becker made amended with a fantastic one on one save to keep RS in the game.
RS captain have the chance to seal the win for RS, he collected the throw in from Haniff, turn his marker & fire a shot from 30 yards out, the ball is flying into the top right corner of the net but Motorola keeper using every inch of his body to tip the ball.
This is also the last shot of the game & it ended 2-2, is a 2 point lost rather than 1 point gained as RS should have put the game in bed in the first half if not of poor finishing.
During post match interview, Coach Mr.xXx hoping to look at January transfer market for a possible reinforcement especially at the attacking & defensive options.
