Bayan Lepas - The return of TK inspired Saturns for the first win of the season.
The imposing TK maurading right wingback position sparked a 5 minutes chaos both the own half and the opponent's final third.
TK returned for the first time to first team action after the absence of 6 months, started as RWB for the Saturn. His first pass was poor, hitting a suicidal clearance to the middle half inviting chaos but thanks to the influential Adrian as well as the composed KC the saturn cleared the danger, and then barely had a scratch for the first 10 minutes.
TK regained composure, showing off the attacking intent by attempted a one-two with BK. BK thought it was the usual Allan on the RB without expecting a forward play and ignored the maurading TK. The attacking WB soon huffing and puffing after 15 minutes with the intensed pressing and have to be substituted.
2 shots in quick minutes seen Saturn gaining control and stretching opponent keeper. The agile J-FC GK quick reflexive saves preventing RS from scoring. J-FC started their first attack from midfield but it was no trouble to the ever relaxed Saturn GK Zhui.
Saturn's Werner-Nip after returning from a minor surgery, miskicked and cannot find a good rythm. Prior to the kick-off Werner-Nip was seen posting and showing off his upper body to the appreciative RS fans. 28th minute, Wei Loon too over dribbled and lost several attacking plays initiated by Mocha Hui. That pretty much summed up RS's first half with dozen of good attacking initiative without result.
into the second half, speedy Hui dancing passed 3 J-FC's defenders and only got his shot deflected for a corner. Up step Chon Seng despatching a curvey corner and Au scored with ease.
3 minutes later before J-FC can barely catch a breather, RS scored the 2nd goal with Mocha Hui sending a cross from left and Au volleyed without much effort. Au scored a brace.
Switching midfielders, J-FC regrouped and sending in a speedy winger. RS's Heng neutralised the threats. The speedy J-FC winger have to be re-deployed to harrass SB. SB read the game well and defended with pride.
WJ played as a pressing forward running off his socks chasing J-FC like mad. on-looker must be thinking maybe J-FC defenders owe WJ monies. as WJ focus on chasing off the ball, his shots were always weakened.
RS relaxed the play, control midfield with Patrick dictating the midfield tempo often supported by SB. Adrian and KC the RS defensive couple were in full control despite JFC Thai CB bombarding long balls.
At one point the J-FC midfield uncle bullied RS' Chon Seng in fully utilizing his body strength. CS in hard time controlling not to eat grass. RS Coach Mr X will be sending CS for intensed gym sessions.
RS Fazli partnering with WJ and sent some brillant shots on target. only for the impressive J-FC GK to save the day.
a lost of focus from midfield allowed JFC to break thru and chipped-in to score despite GK Zui's brave efforts in tackling. J-FC 1, RS 2.
CS speed thru and often managed to find space as opponents started to feel tired.
WJ combined well with CS to press, JFC slipped and WJ managed to steal the ball. WJ layed the ball nicely for Fazli to round the JFC keeper and scored. RS 3, JFC 1 the score board showed.
WJ squanderred a chance, wasted an opportunity to add his name into a scoresheet, unable to pick up a durian.
switching from watching pornhub to watching how Firmino pressed, masterclass WJ pressed tirelessly (like Firmino) and JFC made yet another mistake. Mocha Hui steal the show by scoring the 4th goal for RS.
Game finished with 4 goals to 1 and RS walked home with a huge smile!
