Saturn was laughing when their midfield king Andrew Kwan returned to action with a bang!
Saturn has one of the easiest game enjoying much of the possession, winning the midfield battles when Andrew combined with KChex, Hooi and WJie. While the aging Mohd Anip adding the much needed experience in attacking midfield, Andrew stole the spotlight with several lung-bursting runs and the hardworking midfielder covered a lot of grounds.
Saturn's new recruit AcapF lead the frontline and the freshman has the aim to replace the aging Anip in the long run. Saturn's head coach Mr X revealed the attacking lines-up by placing the young Acap to lead the attacking line. Acap did not disappoint the fans and sealed a goal midway through the first half.
The hardworking Andrew throwing tackles from the midfield and forcing IWK to make error. The midfield boss orchestrated saturn's first goal. Andrew with the nickname midfield mafia was a constant driving force behind. IWK made a horrible backpass and when Acap pressed, IWK GK picked up the ball with his own hand despite a backpass. Referee awarded a freekick and Acap slotted in to the net. 1-0 to saturn in a sunny evening.
MrX included the evergreen Soon in the starting lineup, but the rusty Soon wasted a 1:1 after Andrew won the ball and passing by Sze Foo.
The continuous pressing by winger Hooi, and the neat passing exchange between the midfield quartet of Andrew, KChex and Sze Foo in the early second half created 3 chances but the Saturn front line was unable to convert the goals.
They say the more you age the wise and more intelligent you could be, and it is very much true to Anip. The once deadly front man dropped deep to the attacking midfield role and being given the responsibility to create opportunity. Anip took a corner kick after much pressing by KChex, and delivered the pass into IWK's 6 yeard box. IWK GK could not clear the ball and it fall into KChex after a run-in shoot by Anip. KChex followup with a bang and bringing Saturn to a 2 goals lead. Although it is arguable but Anip appeared to have claimed the assist, especially without BSLau playing nor protesting.
on the rare occasion, Allan the wingback enjoyed several attacking runs in assisting KChex. Saturn's defence line was having an easy game while IWK could hardly trouble the defence line. GK Zhui only need to make 1 save for the entire game.
Kapsiao.com journalist was seen questioning MrX the availability of the other hardworking wingback Dhillion, MrX was being quoted saying, "We expect to see his return to first team action soon, and we need to see his fitness level."
The toxic kapsiao.com journalist kept asking if Dhillion was left out due to the mistake backpassing he made, Mr X quoted the famous Klopp's famous man-management style of the horrible defence mistake by Lovren, in saying, "We are only human and do not magnify individual mistake to kill someone's career."
