With the coronavirus out break in around the world, RS's match play on the minimize of crowd allowed into the stadium.
RS's lately is pampered with the injuries to the players & some players is away for "African Chinese Cup"
RS come into the match with a slim squad, coach Mr.xXx only managed to fills up a 2 man bench but welcome back the team's legend, the vet Kor HS to marshall the backline.
With both first team goalkeeper is away, SB have to fills in as emergency keeper for the match, even without the glove.
RS started the match in 352 fashion as it served them well this season. But as the required personnel for certain position is not around, RS's flowing football can't be seen.
Belia Staff Team started to build up the pressure to RS's defence. From one corner swing in, the ball flew to in front of the goal without any challenge, Chan lost his man & Belia's attacker is left free to slot the ball into far corner.
RS trailed 1 goal behind. Belia continue their pressure, RS's midfield lost the ball in the midfield, Belia counter attack with pace, the right winger fools Chan with some footwork & square the ball into 12 yards area where Belia's attacker is arriving & slotted the ball into the far corner. No chance for the stand in keeper SB.
As see the team keep pressed by Belia, Kor took the initiative to discuss with Mr.xXx & revert the formation to 4-4-2. Since revert to back 4, RS started get hold with the game & creating chance.
WL, WJ & Moca was presented with chances among them, but spoiled it all with the opponent keeper perform fantastically to thwarted them.
RS goes into the break falling 2 goals behind.
All the RS players can see discuss heavily & encourage each other. RS come out the 2nd half with more attacking nouns, Haniff & SF subbed on respectively for Lau BS & Allan, with Edmund return to his favorite RB position.
RS started the 2nd half brightly, good passing around the field.
on 60 min, RS managed to pass the ball out from defence & found Haniff on the midfield, he control the ball & saw Moca is running behind the defence from right wing, he send a inch perfect pass for Moca to run on, the keeper come out to close down the angle, Moca arrived & fake a shot to dropped the keeper down & dribble pass keeper to pass it into the empty net.
RS back to business, 1-2. RS keep pressure the Belia & forced them back to their own half.
10 mins after first goal, Haniff robbed the ball from Belia's defender when he try to turn Haniff, Haniff broke through with only keeper to beat. Slightly different from Moca, Haniff dribble pass the keeper with some skills & pass it into the empty net.
RS equalised the game.
Belia try to fight back & manage to win a freekick on the edge of the box with the comical fall & Ref Man buy into it & awarded the free kick.
SB manage save the weak free kick & saw WL is stand all alone at the center circle. He launch a fast free kick towards him, WL saw the keeper rush out try to charge him down, WL lifted the ball over the keeper & fly toward the goal. WL follow it up & pass it into the empty net.
RS turnaround the match with a stunning 2nd half performance. Heng & Kor combined to shut down Belia's attack with a solid & experience show.
With the spirit of fighting till last minutes, hopefully we will see more great performance from RS.
