Much better this week lads 100% Match report coming by Carl Pullem

Whether it was the pre-match chat about xhamster, my free cams and
animal porn, Chris Woods's competitive debut or roofy 'mourinho's'
warm-up that inspired the stones start to the game, it was one of the
best first 15's of the season. With a number of players going close
the breakthrough came on the 15 minute mark. Luke O'Brien got the ball
in the left hand corner of the park, made space for himself to deliver
in a lobbed cross for Chris Woods to cooly poke past the goalkeeper at
about waste height, 1-0 to the stones.
The away side headstone manor (still deludedly thinking their going
to win the league) then fought back and there was an even 5 minutes or
so, they may have even got a shot in... probably not though. More and
more pressure from stonefield and the second goal looked imminent.
Around the 35 minute mark a throw-in ended up at the feet of Danny
'un-co' King, arms flailing around like wings he skillfully turned his
man and tried to deliver a cross to the back post, or as he will tell
you, a lobbed shot into the far corner. The ball came from high up to
lob over the shell-shocked keeper and drop into the far corner of the
goal, Wanderers now well worth the 2 goal lead.
The game restarted and Headstone managed to keep possession for a
while, they worked a half chance shooting oppurtunity, the striker had
a very tame shot that mully thought he could easily deal with. Roofy
however, had other ideas.. his 'brave' block of the shot resulted in a
backward header that Javier Hernandez would have been proud of and the
ball flew straight into the top bin. The half was played out and
finished 2-1, the home side still upbeat with a good overall
performance.
The start to the second half was slightly cagey fo both sides, a few
half chances being calved out for either side. For Stonefield, Carl
Collins, really starting to boss the midfield, pulling the strings
made himself a shooting oppurtunity, and placed the ball beautifully
in seat 29 of row z. Headstone also had a few chances, a few good dead
ball oppurtunities being wasted. At around the 60 minute mark the
stones started to push forward again and won a string of corners,
these allowed Jake Wilson to find out how bad the Headstone marking
was and also start his romance with the woodwork as a header hit the
post and a shot the anglebar both from corners. The goalscorer Danny
King was replaced by Tony Hodge on the 65 minute mark.
The game was pretty even for the next 15 with chances occuring for
both sides, after a good cross was put in for Luke O'Brien to
challenge the ball dropped for Carl Pullem to have a swing with his
left foot, unfortunately it was a complete airshot, but then it
dropped to the favourable right foot,, still couldn't beat the keeper,
what a muppet. Headstone were also pushing forward with another good
ball of their own being put in, as the ball came over the defence
froze in shock, the Stonefield goalkeeper Mully had come out and
precisely plucked the ball out of the air catching it safely, he's
obviously learnt not to wear his gloves whilst buttering the toast on
a Sunday morning.
Oliver Kemp replaced Carl Pullem on the 75th minute. Stonefield
continued to push forward, with Carl Collins and Jake Wilson in
complete control of the midfield and another header from a corner by
Jake hit the crossbar. The Stones controlled the match until the 90
minutes were up, another good home win. Roofy also had his first taker
in the shower as David 'Spunky' Chalk lived up to his name and stepped
in to the shower making his first step to becoming a real man by the
Stonefield Chairmans motto 'You ain't a man til you slept with a man'.
A good performance from the whole team with Carl Collins taking the
MOM award.
