The SSAFC made the short trip to Milton Keynes as they faced the MK Dons in a game on what was a wet morning in Buckinghamshire!

The game started slowly with both sides trying to get ahold of the ball with not many chances being made. The SSAFC looking to get their 9th win of the season should have taken the lead when Jonni Wedge nicked the ball from the MK defence and headed towards goal hit a shot which hit the post and came out to Bell who from 8 yards out could only find the keeper's knee with the ball then going to Jeorge Wedge who blasted wide. A good chance gone begging but it proved not to be costy as a few minutes later, quick thinking from Carroll from the throw in found Jonni Wedge who at the byline floated in a lovely ball which evaded the MK goalkeeper and defender and was headed into an empty net by Jeorge Wedge to make it 1-0.

The SSAFC then had some good chances with Rowe blasting wide and Dutton having a low effort saved before the second game and it was that man Jonni Wedge who on the right hand side took on a player then put in a lovely diagonal ball which found Dutton who gambled and got infront of the keeper to poke it past him and into an empty net to double the lead for the SSAFC. A lovely assist and goal. The 3rd came shortly after when some good football from the SSAFC playing it out from the back and into midfield then got the ball out wide to Carroll who put in a cross which found Dutton who headed goalwards and went over and into the keeper, not sure if it was intended but it was the third for the SSAFC and a second for Ricky Dutton! MK Dons then had some chances but the SSAFC backline was solid and resulted in some long efforts which didnt really test Brown in goal who comfortably saved.

The second half started with the SSAFC playing some nice neat quick passing which was a joy to watch and keeping the ball moving. The first chance of the half fell to Jackson who's right footed effort was straight at the keeper. Another chance fell for the SSAFC and it was Jeorge Wedge who got the ball in the box and managed to do 5 kick up's before hitting a left footed volley which hit his own player Foster when it was heading towards goal, unfournate play from Wedge. Foster then had an effort well saved when Jonni Wedge released him on the right and his volley was tipped over. The 4th did come in the end and it was a quick free kick on the left which gave Rowe more time to go forward and whipped in a lovely left footed cross which found Jonni Wedge who's overhead kick flew in with the aid of a massive deflection. 4-0 and it was comfortable.

MK Dons then got back into the game and started pressing the SSAFC but once again it was Brown who was comfortable in goal with most efforts being from a distance. MK then got a way back into the game when a corner wasnt cleared properly and the ball was recycled out to the left hand side and a low cross evaded everyone apart from the winger at the back post who passed it through the legs of Brown and made it 4-1. The SSAFC tried to see the game out but still created chances with Scarrott firing wide when in a good position and Woolf was very close to getting a touch from a whipped Rowe free kick. Rowe then got himself sent off after a decision was given against the SSAFC with Rowe deciding to moan to the referee who booked then sent him off after failing to keep quiet.

MK Dons then got another goal when a corner found an unmarked MK player who headed home from 6 yards out, a very poor goal to concede but it was the last action of the game as the SSAFC got the job done in the first part of the game and it finished 4-2.
