BBOB started well with Christian having a shot on goal in the 1st minute which went just wide of the post.
In the 2nd minute Woodingdean had a corner on their right, they hit the post and the ball rebounded out.
Dan Buchanan had a succession of throw-ins on the left which didn’t materialise in an attack on goal.
Shortly afterwards Luke had a shot on goal on which hit the crossbar, rebounded out and was cleared away for a corner.
In the 8th minute Luke had another shot on goal, this time it was cleared away by the Woodingdean keeper which started a counter attack by them and was eventually cleared away by Adam.
H picked up the ball the ball just inside the Woodingdean half, played it through to Jac whose shot on goal was saved by their keeper.
Woodingdean broke down their right, the ball was crossed into their forward in the penalty area whose shot was pushed away by Steve for a corner.
Some good interplay between Alasdair and Christian on the left cumulated in Alasdair shot on goal just going wide of the post.
Another break by Woodingdean through the middle resulted in their shot on goal again being pushed away by Steve for a corner, from the corner they had a shot on goal which was saved by Steve, he cleared the all up field.
Woodingdean managed to collect the ball and manage another counter attack through the middle, this time their shot on goal sailed over the cross-bar.
H was awarded a free kick on our right, Luke stepped up to take the free kick which he played into the Woodingdean box, Adam managed to get a head to it but it went wide and out for a goal kick.
Woodingdean scored their 1st goal in the 26th minute from a long shot from their left wing which when over the out stretched hands of Steve.
BBOB continued to attack and gained a corner on our right, taken by Joe who placed the ball in the middle of their box, unfortunately no BBOB player could get a head to it, Jac chased the ball and collected on the left, he crossed the ball back into the area, Joe couldn’t get a touch on the far post and it went out for a corner.
In the 35th Woodingdean scored their second goal, this time the ball was hit from just outside the penalty area, Steve dived to his left but couldn’t reach the ball which went in just inside the post.
Both BBOB and Woodingdean continued to attack, just before half time there was goal mouth scramble in our box, Dan Edwards manged to clear the ball up field to Alasdair but the attack came to nothing.
BBOB started the second half well with Jac picking up the ball on the left, making a diagonal run across field towards the Woodingdean corner flag before crossing the ball back into the middle, their keeper fumbled the ball but managed to clear it out to their right, the resulting attack lead to a shot sailing over the BBOB cross-bar.
In the 53 minute Jac played the ball on the left to Alasdair who played it back to Jac, he broke down the left, crossed the ball into the centre and it was put into the back of the net by one of their defenders, 2-1 to Woodingdean.
Both teams made counter attacks, Woodingdean created a lot of chances but managed to fire the ball over cross-bar most times.
In the 63rdminute Dan Buchana dribbled the ball past a couple of players on the left, turned in towards goal and shot, the all was pushed away by their goalie straight back to Dan who hit the ball straight back to level the score at 2-2.
Unfortunately, 2 minutes later a break and cross from the Woodingdean right into our penalty area resulted in a dubious penalty being awarded, their player stepped up and put it wide of Steve into the left-hand corner, 3-2 to Woodingdean.
Both teams continued to attack both goals, despite BBOB hitting the Woodingdean goal post twice they were unable to score.
Woodingdean scored their 4th goal from the edge of the penalty are in the 75th minute.
This was followed two minutes later with another goal by them again from outside the box.
BBOB were unlucky in the 82nd minute when a shot by Ben on our right hit the post and came out.
We had a corner on our right, the shot from the corner hit the cross-bar and rebounded out, luck was not on our side.
In the dying minutes of the game the ball was played in from the Woodingdean right to one of their players his shot the underside of the cross-bar and into the goal.
A minute later Adam unfortunately scored an own goal trying to clear a Woodingdean cross.
Final score 7-2 to Woodingdean but a very good and spirted performance by BBOB.
