Horden can find themselves unlucky not to progress to the next round.Horden started the better and created the better chances but just couldn't convert and they should have took the lead from the penalty spot but it was well saved by the Dawdon keeper. They did eventually take the lead when Jonny Monaghan flicked home a cross shortly after Dawdon had a man sent off. HT 1.0

The second half was a different story it was Dawdon who were playing the better and things were evened up player wise when Joe Bell received a 2nd yellow card. Both teams created a few chances but both keepers were in fine form, time was running down and with only 2 minutes left Dawdon got the equaliser. With the game going into extra time Dawdon had another man sent off but instead of having a negative affect it inspired Dawdon who went on to score another 2 which took them into the semi final.
