Corinthians v All Claims

There are very few things a team must do to be success full lads, score more than your opponent, not concede more than the other team, match an opponents work rate are probably the top three things. So it was no surprise to me we not only lost against All Claims, what was a surprise is we didn’t only lose but also disrespected the Club and your own selves.
I hope my few words got through today, ‘I was embarrassed to be witness’ and ‘Will not stand for’, the type of behaviour I saw; people pointing fingers at each other exclaiming allsorts of problems rather than look at there own input and work rate. Players and friends alike should be there for each other rather than bitch about some thing, whilst doing the complete opposite, as this is hypercritical at the very least. I am not saying this through disappointment of throwing away yet another game in the Premiership but as a direct comparison to last year and its negative feel / influence which affect this side.
All Claims didn’t really win this game we handed it to them on a plate, our ‘team’ work rate can be described poor at best, our passing poor and our desire awful. We were the better team in the first half and we came of looking defeated, tired and without any passion. The second half then turned into a farce. Sure I could pick out individuals who tried hard but its individuals again. Be honest with your selves and me, did you really all give it 100 percent. Hard work might not win a game but it contributes an awful lot, desire might not give you the right result but it inspires confidence and chance. Finally having a pop at your own team mates is unacceptable and will only produce one result, failure.
This year as I have proven to you all, this side is more successful, has a better focus and has produce better results because of the positive inputs and hard work you all have put in. We should have hit all the targets both managers had set aside for, then in one week you remind the managers that they are dealing with spoilt children rather than talented football players. This side has been found out a couple time this year Castle Point Gas, Borough Rovers and now add to that All Claims. In each of these games we have been able to rise and produce an improved effort; god only knows how much I need to see that next week at home to Shoebury.
The game could have been different if you let it, a good goal disallowed for off side, a series of corners where we pressured the keeper and defence into last minuet saves or clearances not to mention Dan H well struck drive, both strikers going through and almost capitalising. Yet most of you just focused on the poor things we did and amplified that through the team, creating all I can describe it as a farce. Mistakes happen in football, we had a couple today probably everyone on the pitch had one mistake made, but why did we have 2 needless yellow cards produced. Why did we feel the need to moan about someone else, rather than concentrate on our own games and attempt to help each other?
I will not go on; we all now put in 100 percent effort. We all now work together and attempt to continue doing the things that have changed you from a team looking at the bottom to a team with designs on the top. Or we all now give the management fewer choices in which to help you win games and fight for titles.

Came on to try to alter shape, no real positive influence. Was to difficult to go for manager to player.
