A great goal from Farooq Raza couldnt help Ac Milano to progress into the next round of the South Essex League Cup as 2 late goals from walthamstow Red Star knocks them out...Ac Milano who were on top in the 1st half should of won this game comfortably but once again missed chances cost them the game...
Ac Milano took the lead half way through the 1st half when a great cross from the stand in left back Arif (Goryo) Mulla found Farooq Raza in the area & with no mistake Farooq Raza scored with a great header...Ac Milano could of taken a 2-0 lead but Naeem Yusuf hit the bar as he did last week.Walthamstow Red Stars defence wasnt great & Ac Milano could of caused alot of damage to the opposition but they didnt take the advantage specially the wingers in Mohammed Yunus & Naeem Yusuf...Leading 1-0 at half time & being on top what Ac Milano needed was the 2nd goal to kill of the game.
In the 2nd half Ac Milano didnt look the same as they did in the 1st half.Manager Siraz made a change at half time & bought on sexyboy Zuber Topi on the right wing to cause problems on that wing but it looked like Zuber Topi wasnt even on the pitch...Maybe Zuber Topi isnt that sexyboy on the pitch as he is off the pitch. Starting of slow,Walthamstow Red Star attacked more & caused problems to the Ac Milano defence...Putting so much pressure on the Ac Milano defence Walthamstow Red Star equalised in the 74th minute when a corner was taken & the clearance fell straight to one of the Walthamstow Red Stars feet & took a shot & the ball scraped through the Ac Milano defence & with some attempt Stevie couldnt keep the ball going over the line...It was 1-1 & Ac Milano could of won the game only if Lukman wasnt selfish & passed across the goal where 3 Ac Milano players were waiting to tap the ball in but he went for a shot which was poor & hit the side netting...
Walthamstow Red Star won the game in the 90th minute with the winner...A long throw in which the Ac Milano keeper Suhail (stevie) Bagas should of dealt with was headed in after it came off the crossbar.It was a good game but with pressure at the back Ac Milano came out the losers...Ac Milano have led all the time where they have lost the game.Up to 60th or the 70th minute Ac Milano have led but what happens to them in the last half hour of the game they conceed silly goals and lose matches where they should win easily...They led 2-1 at Fabian with half hour to go & lose 5-3,They led 2-1 at Interlink with 25 minutes to go & end up losing 5-2 & against Walthamstow Red Star the led 1-0 with 20 minutes to go & end up losing 2-1...They have to learn to defend well when they leading...
Out of the Sunday Junior Cup,out of the South Essex League Cup Ac Milano have the league & division 2 cup to play for now...To save their dissapointing start to the season they know they have to do well in the league & the division 2 cup...
Ac Milano are away to Lf Olympico this sunday & 3 points is a must if they are to climb up that table...
