Ac Milano center back Asif Afini grabbed a last minute equaliser as his side came from 3-1 down to snatch a draw 3-3.It was a well deserved draw for Ac Milano as they caused problems for Hainault Athletic defenders in the second half.
Ac Milano could of taken the lead when Fayaz Mehboob hit the post early on in the game. But it was Hainault Athletic who took the lead with a well taken goal.A good move & good through ball saw the Hainault Athletic player through on goal & slotted the ball in the back of the Ac Milano net.The home side did get an equaliser from Fayaz Mehboob after been set up by Salim Bhuta who side footed the shot & the ball creeped in at the near post of Hainault Athletic goal. The equaliser didnt last long as Hainault Athletic got another goal, this time a mistake by Sameer Patel...Trying to take the player on,the Hainault Athletic player won the ball of Sameer & with one on one with Ac Milano goalkeeper Hainault scored to make it 2-1.
Hainault went 3-1 ahead in the first half after another defensive mistake at the back,Ac Milano claiming the ball went off but the linesman didnt put his flag up & Hainault Athletic's goal was given...The score was 3-1 at half time to Hainault Athletic...
In the second half Ac Milano came out stronger as they had chased the two goal deficit & played some good attacking football. The home side were awarded a penalty after Asif Afini was fouled in the area.Zuber Patel the Ac Milano penalty taker had missed two penalties already this season in which both games they had lost.Zuber stepped up again to take the penalty & his spotkick was saved by the Hainault goalkeeper,it was a poor penalty taken by Zuber & he could of done better but this is his third penalty of the season missed.A great chance to get back in the game early in the second half...
Ac Milano pulled a goal back from a corner taken by Fayaz Mehboob, which was put in the back of the net by Hainault Athletic player to make it 3-2 and game on.After that the home side had chances to score goals but missed opportunities went begging. As Ac Milano were going up front for the equaliser they were getting caught out at the back but some good defending work by Salim Bhuta made sure the away side didnt score.
With only thirty seconds to go,Ac Milano were awarded a free kick which Sameer floated the ball into the Hainault Athletic area.Salim Bhuta flicked the ball towards goal which looked like it was going in but came in flying like Superman Asif Afini made sure it goes in & scored to make it 3-3...A deserved goal for Ac Milano after they had threatened infront of goal & actually could of won the game if they had taken their chances.Only if Ac Milano play like this, more attacking football & defending together.Ac Milano need to conceded less goals at the back & finish off their chances up front when they get it.Ahmed Bhai,Zuber,Zeeshan & Fayaz all went close to scoring...
A good performance by Ac Milano but could do better & kill off teams with the good standard off players they have.Anas Kp,left back for Ac Milano had a very good game pushing up front alot & dribbling the ball to take it forward but the Man of the Match was awarded to Salim Bhuta for his good composer, bringing the ball down & playing it out instead of just clearing it anywhere...Manager Siraz said "Everytime there was a mistake made by our players & the missed chances i just turned my back & let the fustration out,i couldnt believe with so much attacking on goal we were missing chances but the lads done well to get a point, which is better than nothing. The next two weeks will decide our season as we play a Double Header against Asianos Reserves on Sunday & then the Division Two Godbold Cup Quarter Final clash against Renaissance Fc.I really want to win this Godbold Cup as its the best chance we have but i can only pick the team & rest is upto the players on the pitch...The Manager also praised the two subs Suhail Adam & Naeem Yusuf who wernt used & they didnt moan abit about going on,it shows they are real team players & thought about the team rather then themselfs"...
