It was a game of passion,it was a game where every Ac Milano player had to be focused,it was a game where Ac Milano had to win...And didn't they do it passionately.
Larron sitting at the top of the table in the South Essex League scoring 90 league goals in just 15 league games looked dangerous but Ac Milano are the one's who came out on top.Ac Milano knew this was a big game for them & they showed they can compete against the best..
Larron took an early lead after just 7 minutes when a hit & hope shot looped over the Ac Milano goalkeeper Ehsan Afzal.Ac Milano didn't put their heads down,got on with the game & got their reward with an equalising goal from Anas Kp.Arif Patel crossed for his 11th assist of the season from the left & there was Anas Kp to slot the ball past the Larron goalkeeper.Larron took a 2-1 lead after 31 minutes when a corner was taken & Ac Milano couldnt deal with it.Larron somehow slotted the ball into the net from close range header...
Once again Ac Milano didn't put their heads down or argue & got straight back on with the game.Arif Patel equalised for Ac Milano after 39 minutes when he was on the right side,came onto his favoured left foot & made no mistake with placing the ball into the Larron goalkeeper's right hand corner of the goal...That was Arif Patel's 4th goal of the season & raced towards to the Ac Milano chairman Siraz Khankhara (khanki) to celebrate the goal.It was a deserved goal for Ac Milano as they dominated the first half.Larron didn't look like a team who have scored 90 league goals...
At half time the scores were level at 2-2.Ac Milano could of been ahead at half time as they were all over Larron...
Manager Sazid Asmal (Moti) made a change at half time by bringing on bright young talent Talha Mehboob for another talent Anas Kp.Also ten minutes into the second half Ac Milano's Vas Makan had to come off due to a hamstring injury.It was a big blow & Ac Milano tried everything for Vas Makan to carry on but just couldnt do it...Asif Giddi who has played center back most of last season came on to partner Yasin Ayyub.
Second half both teams tried to get a goal but it was Ac Milano who had better chances but then again dont take anything away from Larron as they had couple chances to score,Ehsan Afzal made good saves on each of them...Talha Mehboob had few chances as one of them he raced past the two Larron defenders but shot wide & the other one he was bought down on the edge of the area,Larron defender being the last man didn't even get a yellow...
The move of the match was when Ac Milano left back Noorul Patel made good passes with Daniel Cameron,Noorul racing down the left wing & a great cross found Daniel Cameron in the box & his header was saved & tipped over the bar by the Larron goalkeeper.Daniel Cameron done really well & leaped high to get his head on the ball as he was inbetween the two Larron center backs...
It was looking as this game will end in a draw & Larron would of been happy taking a point from this game but it wasnt meant to be.In the 91st minute Arif Patel scored the winning goal & a deserved winning goal for Ac Milano...Daniel Cameron raced past two Larron players from the left side of midfield & with one on one with the Larron goalkeeper with pressure from the running back Larron defenders Daniel tried to slot the ball into the goalkeepers left hand corner but the Larron goalkeeper got a fingertip to it & the ball rolled past the goal & there was Arif Patel in the right place at the right time to slam the ball into the back of the net & the whole stadium erupted.The fans ran onto the pitch & it was crazy...
Ac Milano knew that they had won this game but it wasnt over as captain Asif Afini saved brilliantly from his goal line which was the last kick of the game.If that had gone in the game would of ended in a 3-3 draw but Asif Afini made sure that didn't happen & Ac Milano went onto win this great game 3-2..At the final whistle every player,management & fans celebrated the great win...
Chairman Siraz Khankhara (khanki) said "Straight from the kick off you could see my lads were up for this game & showed no pressure.As soon as they kicked off we started attacking.It was a great win for the club & Ac Milano showed on their day they can compete against the best.The performance was superb,this is the first time iv seen the club play great passing football since we have started 11-a-side football which is three seasons now.young lads like Osman Mohamed,Anas Kp,Fayaz Mehboob & Talha Mehboob played really well & with senior players at the club those young lads are settling in very well.Every player done so well against Larron & i praise them.Yasin Ayyub was solid at the back & didn't let anything go through him...I say to the lads enjoy the win but not that much as we still have alot of tough games coming ahead of us...
Ac Milano are 4 points away from the top with 2 games in hand...WELL DONE AC MILANO !
