AC MILANO GRAB A POINT AGAINST TITLE CHASING FABIAN FC...ASIF AFINI SCORES FROM SPOT KICK...
A great performance by Ac Milano against title chasing Fabian Fc which put a smile on the managers & coach's face.If Ac Milano can match Fabian Fc who are contenders for the South Essex Division 2 title then why is Ac Milano near the bottom of the table when they should be up the table chasing promotion...They perform good against the good teams & dont perform against the lower teams.Only if Ac Milano won the games against Chequers,Golden boys & Interlink they would of been 3rd in the table...
It was a bad start for Ac Milano as they went down 1-0 to another defensive error,this time Asif Afini & Yan Ayub going wrong...After that goal Ac Milano started really playing football & they should of won this game so easily but once again they couldnt take their chances.Zavid Darvesh who missed an open goal,Asif Giddi hitting the bar & post & Yan Mehboobs shot going straight at the keeper...
Fabian did cause problems with their long balls but the Ac Milano midfield & defenders did well to cut out the long balls.Ac Milano were denied 2 penalty appeals but were rewarded with the 3rd penalty appeal when captain Asif Giddi was fouled in the area & stepped up the right back Asif Afini who slotted the penalty to the Fabian goalkeepers left side which Fabian keeper nearly got to...It was a deserved goal for Ac Milano who really dominated the second half & should of taken all 3 points cause of the way they played...
If Ac Milano can match Fabian then surely they can compete for top 2 next season.What Ac Milano are missing at the moment is a natural striker who will finish his chances off...Ac Milano seems to have got the defence & midfield sorted with Yan Ayub & Vasim Makan solid at center back...Siraz(Khanki),Fayaz Mehboob doing good in midfield with the backing of Talha Adam & Naeem Yusuf getting better on the right midfield...Zavid Darvesh who started his first game for Ac Milano this season was great on the left side of midfield,he could of had a goal but his miss will surely give him nightmares...Manager Siraz(khanki) & coach Yakub Bhai are getting there with the team as they have only lost once in the last four games...
Hopefully they will have the 11 who can compete against the top teams next season...Coach Yakub Bhai said "the performance Ac Milano gave against Fabian was superb,they played as a team for 90 minutes & it shows if Ac Milano play as a team they can match any team on the day.Though we should of won with the chances we had im happy with the point...We struggling at the moment up front but my aim is to work on Zuber Topi who i think will come out good & to his best as a goalscorer.Im looking forward for Zuber Topi to sort out Ac Milano's goalscoring problems"...
Ac Milano are away to Hogs Head this sunday...Ac Milano won 2-1 the last time they met when Siraz(khanki) scored a screamer...
