Away league match played on 04 December 2011.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Before the game both sides gathered around the centre circle for a minutes silence in memory of Gary Speed, which was immaculately observed.
Following this the game kicked off and the initial exchanges were fairly balanced before Lewis Tidy managed to escape Ollies bar's defence on the 10 minute mark and unleashed poweful shot from around 18 yards which rebounded back of the post and into the path of Neil Mcloughlin who drove the ball home from around the same distance.
Four minutes later Anthony Biswas managed to beat the Ollies bar right back before carrying the ball another few yards and lashing a shot past the keeper for 2-0 Stainton.
Two injuries then led to substitutions for Stainton and this looked like it may cause the tide to turn against Stainton when some poor defensive work led to a goal for Ollies bar on 28 minutes.
The Stainton passing then looked a bit rushed and panicked, but a calm head from Lewis Tidy allowed them to go 3-1 up. Tidy's goal was a peach as a Stainton corner was half cleared to the corner of the 18 yard box only for Tidy to loop a lovely ball back across the box towards the back post, which the keeper could only push into the roof of the net.
More good work from Lewis Tidy on 40 minutes allowed him to get free and hit a shot from the edge of the area, only for his shot to again hit the woodwork and this time fall to the head of Paul Jenkins 6 yards out, 4-1 Stainton.
Despite getting close to half time, there was still time for Stainton to go further ahead. A brilliantly uted ball over the top from half way by substitute Terry Jones played in Lewis Tidy before he bore down on goal, beating a defender on the right hand side of the 6 yard box, then rolling the ball past the outstreched goalkeeper and into the net for 5- Stainton at half time.
After the break the passing improved from Stainton and 10 minutes after the interval this good football paid off when a deep cross ball from the right hand side fell to Neil McLoughlin on the left hand side of the box, he managed to get space to pull the ball back to stand in captain Richie May who's shot beat the keeper from around 10 yards, 6-1 Stainton.
On 64 minutes it was about time for another goal and Stainton duely obliged, when after some good work on the right allowed Richie May to cross the ball to the far post and Lewis Tidy was on hand to score, 7-1 Stainton.
After 70 minutes another lapse in concentration alllowed the Ollies bar striker to get them a second consolation goal. But Stainton were not satified with 7 goals and on 82 minutes Paul Jenkins scored their 8th. a lovely ball through the defence allowed Jenkins to beat the offside trap and beat the keeper for his second of the game.
Man of The match - Stuart Murphy - Sterling work in keeping the back 3 in check and clearing all that fell before him.
Mentions for Paul Jenkins and Lewis Tidy - after both put in good displays.
