The match ended with a staggering scoreline of 12-0 in favour of the Huntingdon side, showcasing their dominance throughout the encounter.

Huntingdon Town adopted a 3-4-1 formation, with Jack Edwards in goal, supported by a defensive trio of Sam Godfrey, Noah White, and Roman Lawrence Alexander.

The midfield was packed with Stefan Maresi and Will Stewart on the right and left flanks respectively, while Magnus Kristensen and Reuben Zimmermann operated centrally.

Jacob Wyatt led the line as the striker.

The substitutes for the match included Samuel Davids and Henry Smith.

The match began with an early flurry of attempts from Huntingdon, with Will Stewart testing the Papworth goalkeeper twice within the first two minutes, both efforts saved.

The pressure continued as Stefan Maresi struck the crossbar shortly after, while Magnus Kristensen and Jacob Wyatt also failed to find the target, with their shots going wide or saved.

The breakthrough came in the 18th minute when Stefan Maresi found the net from close range, assisted by Magnus Kristensen's cross.

This goal set the tone for the remainder of the match, as Huntingdon continued to dominate possession and create opportunities.

Maresi's strike was followed by further attempts from the likes of Magnus Kristensen and Will Stewart, though they were unable to extend the lead immediately.

A tactical substitution in the 24th minute saw Samuel Davids replace Reuben Zimmermann, injecting fresh energy into the makeshift midfield.

As the first half drew to a close, Huntingdon's relentless attack continued, with Jacob Wyatt's attempts being thwarted by the Papworth defence.

The half-time whistle blew with the score somehow at 1-0 after 16 shots, it was clear that Huntingdon were poised to add to their tally in the second half.

The second half commenced with Huntingdon immediately on the front foot and Henry Smith who replaced Wyatt up front found the net almost immediately from kick off, 2-0.

The Hunters continued to press.

However, the floodgates opened shortly after, with Will Stewart scoring his first of the match converting a pass from Samuel Davids, 3-0

Shortly after Stewart grabbed his second after good work down the wing from Davids, 4-0.

The goals kept coming as Jack Edwards joined the scoring spree, netting two goals in quick succession both assisted by Samuel Davids making it 6-0.

Edwards' contributions were a testament to the team's attacking prowess and their ability to exploit every opportunity.

Davids who was the provider, now turns goal scorer with a great finish from the right to make it 7-0.

Edwards grabbed his 3rd of the game with a tidy finish from close range, 8-0.

Edwards then put it on a plate for Will Stewart to grab his hat trick with an incredibly cheeky flick right in front of the keeper to give Stewart the easiest of finishes right in front of goal.

Roman Lawrence Alexander added to the scoreline with a long-range strike in the 57th minute, another assist from Edwards.

Shortly thereafter, Noah White got in on the action, scoring twice in the closing moments of the match, first in the 59th minute and then again in the 60th, both set up by Edwards, who had turned from goalkeeper to playmaker.

As the final whistle blew, the scoreboard read 12-0, a resounding victory for the Whites.

The performance was a showcase of teamwork, skill, and determination, with Will Stewart & Jack Edwards earning the accolade of Man of the Match for their influential displays in both grabbing hat tricks.

The Huntingdon side will take immense confidence from this emphatic win as they progress further in the cup competition knowing everyone was playing out of position to give extra experience in playing different positions and to try and keep the scoreline down.
