In a commanding and one sided display The Hunters faced Eynesbury in a cup match.

The home side delivered an emphatic performance, securing a resounding 10-0 victory, showcasing their attacking prowess and defensive solidity throughout the encounter to win the group without defeat only dropping two points along the way.

Town lined up in our favoured 3-4-1 formation which has served us so well this season in the league and cups.

Noah White in goal, flanked by a trio of defenders: Samuel Davids on the right, Henry Smith in the centre, and Reuben Zimmermann on the left.

The midfield was anchored by Jack Edwards and Magnus Kristensen centrally, with Roman Lawrence Alexander and Will Stewart providing width on the right and left flanks respectively.

Up front, George Smith led the line as the striker, supported by a very dynamic midfield.

The substitutes for the match included Jacob Wyatt, Josh Cooke, Sam Godfrey, and Stefan Maresi.

The match began with an early scare for the visitors as Roman Lawrence Alexander was flagged offside within the first two minutes, a mistimed run that halted the initial momentum.

Just moments later, George Smith attempted to find the net but his shot went wide, indicating the attacking intent of the home side.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 17th minute when George Smith found the net, converting a short pass from Roman Lawrence Alexander inside the box.

Just three minutes later, Lawrence Alexander himself scored, finishing from close range after a well-placed assist from Will Stewart.

In a tactical move, Huntingdon made four substitutions in the 20th minute, bringing on Jacob Wyatt, Josh Cooke, Sam Godfrey, and Stefan Maresi, as George Smith, Samuel Davids, Magnus Kristensen, and Will Stewart made way.

The impact was immediate, as Jacob Wyatt scored just a minute after entering the fray, converting a corner from Jack Edwards with a right-footed finish.

Jacob Wyatt continued to be a threat, but his attempt in the 25th minute was saved.

Roman Lawrence Alexander added to the tally in the 26th minute, scoring his second of the match with a left-footed effort, assisted by Stefan Maresi.

Sam Godfrey then got in on the action, scoring from close range in the 28th minute, following another assist from Jack Edwards.

At 5-0, and Huntingdon were in complete control.

Further tactical changes were made shortly after, with Henry Smith and Magnus Kristensen coming on.

Jacob Wyatt had another shot saved, but the relentless pressure from Huntingdon was unyielding.

Magnus Christensen struck to make it 7-0, Jack Edwards then popped up from the left wing to make it 8-0.

Jacob Wyatt then struck twice more, both times assisted by Jack Edwards, showcasing a remarkable performance from Town.

The final whistle confirmed a staggering 10-0 victory for Town, a result that highlighted their attacking flair and teamwork.

The match served as a testament to their capabilities as they progressed in the cup, leaving Eynesbury with much to ponder after a challenging evening.

The MOTM award tonight could be given to 5 or 6 players for their efforts tonight.
