Away league match played on 27 October 2013.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

90 minutes extra time played.

After the joke of the last match against theale which we are still not permitted to comment on it was nice to get back to playing and a trip down memory lane as we travel the short distance down the road to farnham town and the memorial ground.

A lively start by both teams a farnham have the first clear chance. The pitch is a bit heavy and as the ball sticks in the middle farnham condeed  a free kick, Harry launches into the box and under pressure from sam and andy the defender heads into his own goal, andy goes close and draws a great save from the keeper, cammy hits a sweet volley just wide and the previously unbeaten look to be rattled but it clear they are a good side and as we as usual take a breather and stop running they get on top but it yet again another mistake that gifts a goal and heads drop, farnham press home their advantage and go in front with smart header, we scrape to half time only 2-1 down.

A bit of a chat, some home truths and soul searching is required. What we need is a confident start and thats exactly what we DON’T get as after two minutes we are walking back kicking the ground and 3-1 down. Farnham pressure is dealt with and as the ball is cleared down the left the left back has all day to plant in another cross that is dispatched into the back of the net, just pure laziness from midfield again talk about masters of our own downfall.

the response was awesome, now for the first time we are tackling, a little bit dodgy (H) but we are tackling none the least. a free kick right in front of the dugout, H launches into the box and on the far side Sam rises like Zebedee on springs and send ball sailing into the far corner. 3-2 Game On.

This is now end to end and a bit feisty and Farnham the get their two goal advantage back, same again, another ball into the box and its headed in, DOH.

Injured back Jordan goes on for injured back Andy and straight away injects a bit of pace, within 3 minutes he holds the ball up lays off and the Hearnimator does the rest, some would say scuffing into the bottom corner but I say with great accuracy he slides the ball under the diving keeper into the bottom corner. 4-3.

Farnham are now visibly rattled particularly to the high ball into the box, did I mention it was getting feisty! Jordan is fouled (remember that bit) whistle blows and as he chases the loose ball goes over the top, whistle blows again? the Farnham player goes absolutely mental at Jordan pushing and shoving Jordan then squares up putting his face right in the Farnham players face. For the second game on the trot we have the spectacle of the opposition management on the pitch telling the ref what to do. Upshot Jordan sent off, Farnham player substituted but comes back on ten minutes later ? oh and free kick goes to Farnham.

Anyway back to the football, despite now having 10 we are suddenly more threatening with Max and Cammy linking well down the right putting a couple of quality crosses in but with no striker they go to waste. Did I mention ball over the top, another free kick from H and as the ball lands on the penalty spot, Cammy runs in between the Keeper and centre half and flicks the ball over the keeper into the net 4-4.

Thats it game over, centre half in goal (well done Steve) 10 men for half an hour so all in not a bad result, good response from half time talk.
