Away cup match played on 04 November 2012.
Kicked off at 10:00 AM

Surrey County Cup and a three quarter of an hour drive to Brockham in the pouring rain.

When we arrive there are no Badgers to be seen only ducks on the pitch.

The referee then arrives and seem a very pleasant person as he tells me he never refs kids only men.

After a pitch inspection kick off is 20 mins late and the ref just gets on with the game, no talk, no boot check, no jewelery check and oh no flags, but the Predators make up for lost time going 1 nil up in the opening minute.

Ball in the box Cammy controls lays it out to Sam who put in a lovely little cross for Scott arnott to nod in.

Cameron then makes it two nil as Scott swings over a far post cross for Sam to nod back across goal where Cam is waiting to slot with his left foot.

Brockham put in a few hefty challenges with Darren taking the brunt but he just gets up and takes the free kicks, which we constantly waste.

Steve hits the keeper with the goal gapping and Cammy smashes past the post when clean through.

Jordan then decides to try and kill someone with a two footed challenge that deserved a red card not just a talking to.

Steve makes way for Max with 10 minutes of the first half to go and immediately makes it 3-0. Brockham are on the attack and take a corner, we clear to half way, Cameron holds and lays into the express that is Max and he calmly slots into the far corner.

Aaron continuing his impressive form down the left goes on a mazy run and instead of a simple pull back goes for the shot that goes for a throw in aha.

Worst to come from Aaron as Josh fires one from 25 yards as it comes down off the bar and the keeper Aaron has the goal at his mercy but only he knows how he missed.

Freddie makes a fine save to make sure at half it is still 3-0.

Second half and mmmm what can you say, never have I seen a referee change personality so quickly before.

To be honest it is one way traffic with Brockham barely entering our half and we miss chance after chance to run up a decent total.

Jordan puts in a perfect cross for Max to head in but quite how he missed the ball defies me.

Cam scuffs a cross from Max and Max must of had 5 one on ones that either hit the keeper or squirm wide.

Now back to the mmmm, Jordan makes what appears to be a great tackle but for some reason gets booked with the ref actually shouting at him.

Next the incident that well was avoidable to say the least.

the ref gives Brokham a penalty which never was as Jack got in front of the striker and he just fell over Jacks heels but you cant see that from 30 yards away.

What happened next I cant comment on here but suffice to say I have never heard a referee speak that aggressively to lets face it 16 year old boys before and the result is in my opinion all his own fault. Go back to the third line.

Penalty scored.

A couple of minutes later and Cammy complains about a challenge and is pulled up and shouted at.

Not allowed to criticize referees but this surely must be close to child abuse. Tell the boys to just shut up and don’t speak for the rest of the game.

Steve puts one on a plate for Max to score a jew goal and pretty much ends the game as a contest.

Sam now takes total control and every time he gets the ball he calmly sprays it around or just goes on a merry run.

Credit to Brockham players they never gave up and quality manager in Art.

The whole day rounded off with a Maccy D's on the M25, big time charlies or what aha.
