Thursday night again & the oppo were full of lithe young things in tight tops & it has to be said Stu was pumped! An excellent game that was physical but never dirty. 0-0 at half time, BoC had the better of things but couldn’t convert a couple of half chances. Hanning for the 2nd week providing a glorious cross field pass for the footballing highlight. Football was secondary really to the man-grappling that Stu was enthusisatically engaging in, a commanding robust performance he revelled in the physicality of it all in a mating dance type of a performance.
Second half came saw BoC finally take the lead & 3 quick goals killed the contest – Wayne & Ilyas tucked home before Intertoto pulled the ball back for Neil to slam home. Usually the only context in which Brazilian & BoC go together is when discussing Stu’s Mum’s lady garden, however the final act of the game for BoC’s fourth was akin to Brazil 70’s fourth goal in the final. Latchford (Pele) teed up Zamora (Carlos Alberto) to rifle into the corner. A rare clean sheet was the icing on the cake.
“Hurragh” they’ve fixed the heating was the call on seeing the steamy showers, however it was unfortunately just a re-enactment of the film ‘Women in Love’ where Stu was Oliver Reed & the oppo were the other one. Off we trotted to the pub for a Pale Ale or in you know who’s case a Waggledance
