The Jovial Monk FC play their home games at the Gilesgate Social Club. They have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and are always looking for new players.
History
The Jovial Monk FC were founded in 2015 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. They started out playing in the Durham & District Sunday League DDSL Division 7.
The team quickly progressed through the divisions and were promoted to DDSL Division 4 in 2021. They are currently looking to build on their recent success and challenge for promotion to DDSL Division 3.
