We are the Sankey Arms F.C. based from the Sankey Arms Pub, Dorchester Rd Gt Sankey. A tight nit group of lads from the Hood Manor area and the old Matthiola Sunday League team who happen to be class at football.
Its our first season in the Warrington Sunday League but we showed the quality needed for promotion in our friendlies by beating several teams from the divisions above.
Led by the leagues youngest manager Sean Macfarlane, and coached by the highly regarded and experienced Roy Sweeney we hope to get silverware in the cabinet even in our debut season. Also helped by Paul Foster who does treasury and secretary work.

Sankey Arms Football Club is a Sunday league football team based in Warrington, Cheshire, England. They play in the Warrington Sunday League Premier Division.
The club was founded in 2019 by a group of friends from the Hood Manor area of Warrington. They have since gone on to win the Premier Division title twice, as well as the Premier Cup and the Denis Scholes Challenge Cup.
The club's home ground is Victoria Park in Walton Lea. They play their home games on Sundays at 11am.
