Great performance today from us following on from Tuesday's performance against Coalburn! We started off great passing the ball well in midfield and putting pressure creating chances in the early stages, it didn't take long just on 5 mins the goal came after a great passing move between Craig Dickie and Gistel, Dickie playing ball into Gistel's path who hit the ball low into the corner. A lot of space was appearing in midfield Sean, Graeme Jed Cockburn and Dickie were getting a lot of the ball feeding in the forward's and wings. The second came after 20 mins passing down the right between martin and Dean, Dean Small cut in on to his left foot and struck the ball and finished well into the corner. Going into half time creating further chances and working hard for each other, great team display! The second followed on keeping New Stevenston at bay pushing Martin Clark, Gistel having opportunities to increase the lead,Graeme Boyd who came on at half time put a good shift in midfield alongside Sean and Graeme. The third goal came through Gistel after bringing the ball down from Alistair Lannigan header to him and then having loads of time to compose his shot then cushioned a shot from the left hand-side of the park from 35 yards out which found its was into the top right hand of corner to everyone's delight! BUTTERFLY! Shortly after Martin was felled in the box and Gistel took his penalty well finishing in the top left corner to complete his hat trick, keeper had no chance of getting to it.
Lets continue that display everyone worked for each other and fought for the team, regardless of the score everyone continued to press and attack but likewise defended equally the same.
