Armley staged another amazing comeback which has been the signature of this season, going 2-0 down before fighting back to earn a 4-2 victory.
Sporting put out a strong line up, with John Moses in goal behind a back four of Glenn King, Richard Moses, David Barlow and Phil Wheeler.
In midfield, captain Kevin Bruce, playing his last game of the season, began in centre midfield alongside James Lee with Liam Robinson on the left and Bryant Coldwell on the right.
Up front, Gareth Knight was selected to partner Danny Goulden.
Not for the first time this season, Sporting got off to the worst possible start and conceded two sloppy goals in the opening 10 minutes.
The first came from a swift counter attack down the Armley right, and the resulting cross was cleared by Richard Moses to the edge of the area, but the ball was instantly fired back first time and past his brother John in the Armley net.
With Sporting players arguing amongst themselves, they conspired to shoot themselves in the foot once again when this time John Moses taking a goal kick passed the ball straight to a Leodis striker on the edge of the box.
He played the ball through to the other striker, who had a simple finish from close range to make it 2-0.
Armley rallied back and made it 2-1 at the break thanks to a typical Danny Goulden goal. James Lee played the ball through to Goulden on the edge of the box, but it was all down to the skill of Goulden who tricked his way past the defender and then sidefooting the ball calmly past the keeper.
In the second half Kevin Bruce dropped back into defence, allowing Richard Moses to push forward into midfield. There was another change in defence when David Barlow was injured and replaced by Elliott Stubbs at left back.
Liam Robinson was looking dangerous and his pace was causing all sorts of problems for the Leodis defence, and he soon set up Armley's equaliser by playing a perfect through ball for Gareth Knight.
Knight barely broke stride as the ball arrived at his feet and with one fluid movement lifted the ball over the keeper and into the roof of the net from just inside the 18 yard box.
Armley edged themselves in front when Knight returned the favour with a neat one-two on the edge of the box to play Robinson in on goal. With one defender to beat, Robinson tapped the ball past to the right, and ran around the defender to the left.
The keeper rushed out, but Robinson was too quick and fired the ball low and into the net at the far post from a tight angle.
Howe and Bellhouse were introduced for Phil Wheeler and Richard Moses, and both combined with Robinson to notch Armley's fourth.
Howe won the ball on the half way line and played the ball to Bellhouse. His scuffed past bounced favourably to Robinson who knocked the ball past the defender once again and beat him for pace.
Racing to the byline, Robinson fired a low shot across goal which was fired in from close range at the far post by Andi Bellhouse.
