In a game of newcomers against league contenders, there was little the away side could do to prevent the opposition from scoring.
Although they held their own for nearly half an hour, the defensive line was breached on the half hour mark after the ball was held up on the edge of the box, with the BTS forward turning the defender and drilling a low shot past the sprawiling Bubb.
The away side looked to break on a couple of separate ocassions, with Rozzy feeding a brilliant through ball, which captain Jason Amy could not latch on to after being clipped by a desparate challenge from the BTS captain. Honesty perhaps cost Seamless here, as had he gone down, the opposing defender could well have seen red and Seamless would have had a free kick in a dangerous area.
However the home team continued to press and were experiencing joy down the right flank, often drawing players out of the game and leaving the centre backs split, however a string of saves from goalkeeper Bubb continued to keep the visitors in the game. On the opposite flank, Right Back Danny Willcocks was busy containg the threats and played several balls up the park into the paths of the forwards.
Chances were fw and far between for the visitors, however Jason Amy latched on to a through ball out wide after brushing off a challenge from the defender to knock an excellent first time ball across the box, however Simon Gow could only poke wide on the stretch.
After missing the opportunity to level the game, the visitors were dealt a hammer blow before half time after a good team move saw BTS get in behind the left back and roll the ball across the six yard box for a tap in and to double their lead.
The first change came at half time and seemed to help steady the visitors, although there was no improvement in the forward play, the defenders stood firm, with Danny Willcocks making several last ditch tackles in his man-of-the-match performance.
It wouldn't last for long however as Seamless failed to clear a corner, with the ball sticking in the muddy goal mouth for the home team to stroke into the back of the net from about 10 yards out.
BTS were lucky to keep 11 players on the pitch as a high boot into Amy's chest, reminiscent of Nani's challenge in the Real Madrid game in last seasons Champions League, left the captain down and unable to draw breath. The referee failed to produce a card in what was an otherwise well officiated game.
A booking did come for BTS, with one of the wall judged to be charging the ball prior to the free kick being taken. The free kick was then moved forward, however it was hit into the wall.
A booking also followed for Josh Help for unsporting behaviour after attempting to block the keepers kick out of his hands.
A fourth goal did come for the home team as they continue to show that they are in the mix for promotion, the skipper losing his counterpart to flick in a well delivered corner.
The game ended with a flurry form the home team, however Amy had dropped back into the box to block out two corners and follow up with a strong challenge which was met with the final whistle.
Although the scoreline mirrored their first outing, there were definite inprovements for a team whih are still trying to find their feet in what has been called the most competitve 2nd division in recent years. One thing is for sure, they are not yet bottom of the table and will certainly look to find points over the next few games.
