Match Report
Beacy 7
Crendon House 1
Beacy eventually strolled to another win, making it 4 from 4 having scored 35 goals in the process….
As per last week we feel behind early on a cross from out wide eluded goalkeeper summers and nestled in the top corner 0-1. Despite having large spells of dominance we were struggling to take chances and the final ball was lacking, and without a good save from summers and some wayward finishing we could have been 2-0 down inside 25 minutes. Crendon House were visably tiring and we were seeing more and more of the ball, eventually our possession paid when a forceful run from Pete Ebberson created a chance for ryan coker, he beat two men before firing a side footed effort at goal which was palmed in by the goalie 1-1. The rest of the half continued in similar fashion with chances being wasted by ryan coker who was selfish infront of goal electing to head a near post chance at goal rather than back across for awaiting team mates, shooting at goal rather than teeing up Piercey who had an open goal and disrupting team mates at corners who were better placed. Half time 1-1.
Second half began and we took the lead within moments, and excellent cross from crooks was met by Ryan coker from a yard out 2-1. Crooks then helped himself to a brace, firstly with a mis hit cross which left the keeper stranded 3-1, then and excellent side foot half volley when played in on the angle 4-1. A double change followed with Chris Everett and gordon Anderson(debut) entering the field of play replacing Ash scott who was going to see and egg being thrown around and Javi who was understandably knackered having arrived at the game of the back of a night shift. Further goals arrived when Coker headed a Piercey corner in from a yard out 5-1. Piercey then added a sixth finishing from close range 6-1. Our dominance continued until full time and we were rewarded with a further late goal when substitute Everett produced a quality cross which was met with a super headed finish by Ryan. Full time 7-1!
Man of Match – Pete Ebberson – mr consistent, having already played in every position bar goalie this season.
