I’m not going to say much about this game as I know the players were angry and I don’t want to get a fine from Hampshire FA.
We lost 6-1 against J.T.C Rovers with Stronstad conceding 4 penalties. 2 were penalties and the other two some players and fans say were not. We were 1-0 down after 30 seconds as Lato tried to block a cross the player shouted penalty and the referee agreed and the penalty was converted. The second goal 5 minutes later should have been a free kick to Stronstad but the ref played on and they got a corner which they scored from. Stronstad players were annoyed with the decision. Which resulted in Paul “Macca” McKay getting booked for his comments to the referee.
Dan Razzell scored his 2nd goal for Stronstad and he blasted home an Ian Privett corner. Sadiq Mohammed had an excellent chance to draw us level but he kicked fresh air and the chance went. The half time whistle was greeted with both sets of players wading in on each other.
Second Half
In the second half Stronstad kept battling away and could have had a couple of goals themselves with Lloyd Adams flashing one across goal and Sadiq Mohammed seeing an effort well blocked but more bad fortune as Lato was then again involved in another penalty of J.T.C Rovers as he won the ball and the referee pointed to the spot even though the J.T.C Rovers player said that Lato had won the ball. The penalty was converted and Lato who was losing his head being replaced by Aaron Brown.
J.T.C Rovers got a 6th goal with a long range effort before Paul “Macca” McKay brought down a J.T.C Rovers player for a 4th penalty but Craig Stuart saved the resulting penalty.
