Luke amazing distribution again today it is such a huge difference having that clearance that Luke has, coming off of his line 2/3 times with a huge clearance these little things are actually huge as it is showing Luke's confidence is growing with every game.
Leo I don't think anything gets past Leo at all and absolute rock at the back against some real big opposition very much becoming Mr dependable at the back and is excelling so much faster than we expected great game yet again
Alex came back after a few weeks out some commanding tackles at the back some good talking and used his physicality to his advantage a sense of security when he is back on the pitch
Reeve lots of running today opening a fair few avenues whilst in the middle and outwide. Naturally pulls back into the defence to help out which we really need the first 5 minutes as we were under quite a bit of pressure. One sublime pass through the defence which we couldn't take advantage of. Also worth noting played in quite a few positions today and worked hard in all of them. Brilliant work rate well done Reeve.
Taaj industrious today lots running and never afraid to get stuck in on tackles, the second half his double turn on the right hand side was superb and a real strength of his game. A few rash challenges but secretly I like that ????.
Logan amazing running front to back I know it feels as if I am repeating myself but The tackling ability and the constant running is an absolute dream to coach rewarded with a goal into the bottom right hand corner due to his hard work to win the ball in the first place. Man of the Match
Jacob physical game again for Jacob worked hard today against two big lads at the back didn't get much to get on too. Some great passes though today set up two excellent chances and was constantly running in-between the channels and it opened our wing play up which made a big difference
Ty awesome with his battling today exactly what we want to see from him, Can see the confidence coming each week and he's only going to get better when he went upfront he really changed the game as he was able to put pressure on the players and forced many mistakes from the back line best we have seen from Ty in my opinion as he was doing the ugly work of battling which allowed others to play.
Arthur tenacious in his running and charging down like Logan he is a little terrier who non stop battles and runs, got his reward with a brilliantly taken shot instead of just hitting it he took his time moved it out of his feet and rifled it for a cheeky nutmeg on the keeper.
Levi showed some real determination in the middle today hassling and hustling players and back to himself today great lay off too Arthur for his goal and the fastest player to react to the defences mishap and punished them with a thunderous strike.
Really good solid game hardly any mistakes and a bit of a battle, Every player gave everything they could on the pitch and are all working together for each other already, seems to be a lot of harmony between the boys and it's starting to show no one is left out and no little cliques are forming it's a real joy to coach all of these and today was one of those days where it showed on the pitch and all the players put in a real shift and worked on what we have been doing in training.
Well worth noting having 3 subs was a great advantage aswell as we didn't have any players come up to us and say can I come off now I am tired. Every player will always be bought off and we try to be as fair as we can with subs every 12 minutes and the huge point on this is our subs are different each game because we can as their appears to be no drop off in talent i.e we don't have a weak team throughout.
